J just received mine today! I'm excited about it!! I plugged it up 1st thing, to get a full charge. I was shocked when the red light turned green, in less than 3 hrs!! I was planning to let it charge all night! The user manual says, "be careful not to overcharge"...I unplugged it but, should I just leave it plugged in?

Hello! Thank you for reaching out to Spa Sciences! We are happy to hear! Please note that these devices will have some charge in them at first from the manufacturer. This is why the light must have turned green right away. We do recommend leaving this on the charger for a full 24 hours even if the light is green. After it is done charging, you must UNPLUG the device, and then PRESS & HOLD the power button for 5 full seconds in order to power on. The pore extraction tips should last about 6 months depending on usage. The microderm tip should last from 3 to 6 months depending on usage as well. When and how to change filrters

Hello! Thank you for contacting Spa Sciences! The filters are one time use only! We have provided you with a helpful video attached to replace the filters; firstly, you must pull the MIO tip off. Under the tip you will find a clear plastic cap. This cap goes over the filter and keeps the filter in place. Take the clear cap off and you can use tweezers to take out/replace the filter! I have 2 questions: How can I tell what speed the MIO is using? Mine says it has high and low speed, but when I push the button, I can't tell which is which. AND, should I use my vitamin C serum and moisturizer after using the microdermabrasion tip?

Thank you for reaching out to Spa Sciences! Your MIO device has a button and a screen where you can increase intensity each time the “SPEED” button is pressed. You will see the bars going higher as the intensity increases. We recommend beginning at the lowest setting to start. Once your treatment is complete rinse your face clean and pat dry. Your serum and moisturizer can be applied at that point.
